My first silhouette....

And my favorite, of course because it is of my daughter when she was about 2-3 years old. It has always been hanging over her crib or bed. One day I will probably paint a new one - I have plans to do our whole family and have it hanging over our bed, but this will always be my favorite! 

A little something extra....

I got this idea from some children's book illustrations... they can be so simple - just a few lines and some color. I loved that idea, so I made this ornament based on a picture of our family.  The picture is on card stock decoupaged onto the ornament, painted and sealed.

Wedding K & P

This silhouette ended up getting another coat of paint...but I was so pleased with the way it turned out. I used a picture from the couple's first dance. A perfect wedding, 1st anniversary or 1st Christmas gift!

Family Silhouette

A silhouette of our family that I did for my husband at Christmas. I wanted the background to look more like watercolors, instead of a solid color.  A perfect way to commemorate our year!
